((if anyone takes any offence at all in this post, it was purely unintentional))
well, i just came back from cedar girls school, yea, just my average day in school....
ok fine, i don't attend a girls school but i knew i should've placed cedar as my first choice when i was in primary six. (maybe i could've had a chance)
actually, i just returned from Cedar cos i was just dismissed from there... urm... i mean.... (this cedar thing is getting to me) i mean i just returned from their leaders' investiture twenty'06 and the theme was "Vogue leading in style" well.... maybe i should start from the beginnning.... right from the point (when i managed to enter the school in sec one........) when i was crossing the road leaving sch....
[[CAUTION: THIS IS GONNA BE ONE LONG ENTRY... FOR MEMORY'S SAKE, AND IMPRESSION'S]]
on the way to Cedar, i thought once, "what if we went uninvited? wouldn't it be a little embarassing...?" (cos we actually havent received the mail invitation) but ah well... i decided to trust ms novabelle ng.... hahaa....
when we reached there, we were a little too early, and we slacked outside a little before walking in.... the walk was long and hot.... but we finally arrived at the blue school!!! CEDAR!!! MY FIRST CHOICE SCHOOL!! ooops.
This was the first impression i had of Cedar, as a school (not throught friends) and now i see the great big difference between my choice school and my current school...
maybe i was comparing an all girls school with a mixed school, but i didn't really consider it.... here are some points.
- their leadership structure and leaders are good and strong
- the school listens (WOW!!)
- they can effectively lead the ENTIRE school cheering, (even our HPT can't achieve that)
- well disciplined, blabla.... (its like really WOW!)
- theres too much more and i dun wanna post realllllllyyyy long
but anyway, the eye was really really nice and cool..... (CEDAR HAS AN EYE!!!) and the hospitality of the prefects was really good.... well.... i saw A friend, and probably made some, although i didn't get their number or msn..... (=p) and found out that the missing Nicholyn is sick!!
the concert was really goood, with a meaningful skit and nice videos... did i say nice? i meant AWESOME! and i heard ms Nova ng singing.... (i think) the planning for this investiture was really really goood....... compliments to the student leaders of Cedar (i really wish now that i had put it as my first choice.... LOL)
Well.... i have much to say about Cedar (from my first impression) but..... i'm at a loss for words..... skipping 2 periods of bio and assembly was definately worth it (and its not the girls that matter the most... -.- [though some guys reading this will probably assume it almost immediately]) but on the whole, its just awesome. An Awesome experience, awesome concert, awesome planning, awesome investiture, and i can go on and on....
One last thing, when i was walking out, (the walk was REALLY long from Cedar Girls Secondary School to Potong Pasir MRT), it was dry and quite hot..... the moment i crossed the road to the busstop via the MRT station's underpass, when i appeared at the other side of the road, it was raining Heavily! WOW! during the time i took to go to the other side via the underpass, the weather changed from SUNNY to STORMY
i'm ending it here.
oh but, i just had to add this.
girls are cool. some.
ok all, just that i dun see everyone's cool side..... LOL =p
p.s i still wish i had gone to cedar..... =p LOL!!!
the path continues... @
